Donations to local cancer research

The Dundee Cancer Centre (DCC) is a partnership between The University of Dundee, NHS Tayside, and Cancer Research UK (CR-UK) established to facilitate collaboration and communication of cancer related activities between the local clinical, research and fundraising communities. The DCC can accept direct donations from individuals and organisations but it is not an active fundraiser. All donations received by the DCC will go towards supporting activities in three main areas of our work:

  • Advancing cancer-related translational research in Dundee
  • Training and development of cancer researchers
  • Facilitating and developing cancer-focussed public engagement activities

Through all these activities DCC contributes to an important mission of advancing cancer research and clinical practice and making sure that is more rapidly transformed into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer for the local community and beyond. The DCC is very grateful for all funding and donations it receives to support this crucial work.
